Open Doors prayer for the Persecuted Church
3rd Monday 7-8:30 pm at Mishkan
Each month we use tools provided by Open Doors to pray for places on the ‘World Watch’ list of the 50 most challenging nations for Christians.
The meetings include worship, video footage of specific situations, and using the Word of God to inform our prayers.
Partnership Prayer for Children & Youth
3rd Friday 8-9pm by Zoom
This began as a partnership with Derby Kids for Christ, Derby Christian Women’s Network and Emmanuel School.
All who have a heart for the children and young people of our city are welcome to join as we stand in the gap for schools, youth groups, and schools workers, as well as issues faced by this generation.

Mishkan Retreat Days
3rd Saturday, 9:30 am-3:30 pm
‘Come aside by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest’ (Mark 6:31)
These retreat days provide an oasis for those looking for time out with the Lord.
After a time of worship and a brief reflection, people are free to find space around the house (and garden, weather permitting) to read, reflect and pray. There is a selection of activities available for creative expression.
In the middle of the day a simple home cooked lunch is provided. There is also opportunity to receive ‘prophetic prayer’.
There is no charge for the day, but a contribution towards running costs is appreciated. Numbers are limited to 5. These days are very popular and they are often booked up well in advance.
By Arrangement
- Self guided retreat days (personal time out with the Lord) by arrangement
- Overnight stays (1-3 nights) for those in need of time out
- A listening ear and optional prayer
- Personal prayer ministry
- Healing prayer
There is no charge for anything that takes place here, but a contribution towards running costs is always welcome.
